Why can't I have food and drink in the library?

Answer

Food and drink are spilled quite easily and destroy electronic and physical library resources.   Campus libraries provide a place for you to set your drink or food near their entrance while you visit the library. 

The CTC Catalogue notes no eating and drinking are allowed in classrooms and laboratories.
