The Student Expectations of any Chatt Tech student attending tutoring are as follows:
On-Campus Tutoring Session
- Your student ID number is required. The tutor will confirm your student ID before starting a session.
- Come prepared with all necessary materials (i.e. pen or pencil, class notes, assignment guidelines, rubrics, homework, textbooks, writing drafts, flash drive, calculator, etc.).
- Be patient and respectful during the tutoring session.
- Be an active participant in the tutoring session.
- Be as specific as possible about what you are hoping to achieve in the tutoring session. Ask questions and listen to suggestions.
- Attempt your homework on your own before bringing it to a tutor for help; a tutor cannot do your work for you.
- Tutors WILL NOT help with quizzes or tests!
- Only schedule an on campus meeting you know you can attend and be punctual. Please notify the Academic Success Center if you need to cancel an appointment.
