Where are your campuses located?
Chatt Tech has eight campuses in Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Gilmer, Paulding, and Pickens counties. (The Appalachian, Marietta, North Metro, and Paulding campuses each have Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts staff.) Chatt Tech has more than 50 programs to choose from including Associate Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates. Whether you learn best in the classroom, online, or a combination of both, Chatt Tech can accommodate your learning style.
What are the Office of Admissions hours?
Admissions Offices are located at the Appalachian, Marietta, North Metro, and Paulding campuses.
Those offices are open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday. (The Appalachian and Paulding campuses are closed from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday for lunch.)

Who is my Admissions Counselor?
Your Admissions Counselor is your personal guide to navigating the college admission process and discovering Chatt Tech. Admissions Counselors are assigned based on the first letter of your last name.
Keep in mind that your Admissions Counselor will assist you while you are an applicant. Your Academic Advisor will assist you with academic planning and registering for courses. (You can contact them once you have been accepted and completed New Student Orientation.)
Can I attend a new student information session?
The admissions counselors host virtual information sessions for prospective students which last approximately one hour. Make sure to sign up so we know to expect you!
What are the requirements for admission?
Requirements for admission to Chatt Tech are based on applicant type. (A small number of programs of study, such as competitive admission health sciences programs and commercial truck driving have program-specific requirements.) If you haven’t applied yet, visit our admissions types page or contact your Admissions Counselor for more information.
Do I have to submit my high school transcript?
You are required to submit an official copy of your high school or high school equivalency transcript. Transfer students can review the Transfer Student Admissions page to learn about potential ways to exempt this requirement.
*If you submit an in-progress copy of your high school transcript, a final transcript with graduation date will still be required upon the completion of high school.
Do I have to submit my previously attended college transcripts?
To receive transfer credit, all official college transcripts must be submitted. You have the option to submit the College Transcript Waiver form to waive this requirement but will not receive any transfer credits towards your program.
Is placement testing required?
Placement testing is not currently an admissions requirement at Chatt Tech.
I attended Chatt Tech in the past. What is required to start taking classes again?

Am I required to be a full-time student?
Full-time enrollment is enrollment of 12 or more credit hours each semester. While there are benefits to full-time enrollment, you can take between 2 and 18 hours each semester.
I am a high school student. Where can I get more information about Dual Enrollment?
The Dual Enrollment Program allows qualified high school students the opportunity to maximize their education and career training by taking courses that earn college and high school credit at the same time! Students must be enrolled in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade at an eligible public or private high school, or home school program in Georgia, and the College.
How do I submit an application?

Where do I send admissions documents?
We strongly encourage applicants to request transcripts to be sent to us using a secure, electronic sending service. If transcripts or other documents must be mailed, please have them sent to:

Please keep in mind that you may also use our Admissions Document Upload form to submit lawful presence documents such as birth certificate, drivers license or US passports.
I’ve submitted my application for admission. How do I apply for financial aid?
The application processes for admission to the college and for financial aid are separate. To apply for financial aid, you should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and list our school code: 005620.
You can check your financial aid status within your BannerWeb account or you can contact your Financial Aid Counselor.
How do I find my Student ID number?
Your Student ID number is a nine-digit number beginning with 900 (also known as your Banner ID) and is the identification number assigned to you when you apply to Chatt Tech. Use our Student ID, Email, and Username Lookup form to locate your Student ID number.
I am a Georgia resident but I am classified as an out-of-state student. How can I fix this?
The most likely cause is that you have not submitted verification of lawful presence in the United States to the Office of Admissions. Verifying lawful presence is a requirement for all in-state students. Our document upload form can be used to submit this document.
I was recently accepted, what are my next steps?
Shortly after being admitted, an acceptance email will be sent to the personal email address that was used to create your account. Visit your student portal to review your next steps.
