Online: Most online courses at CTC are asynchronous, so students complete online work when its convenient for them. All online courses have a course calendar and schedule, which pace the instruction throughout the term. Some instructors may allow you to work ahead in an online course. All online courses will have a proctored event which will require students to verify their identity before completing at least one assignment; proctored events may be on-campus events, or online events using technologies that assist with verifying identity.

Live Online: Live Online courses are completely online, but require weekly meeting times that are designated on the course schedule when you register. These course meetings will be held online via Blackboard Collaborate, and students can participate in these meetings from anywhere (you are not required to be on campus).
