Students interested in a competitive health science/nursing program are placed by default into one of the following preadmission CERTIFICATE programs:
Healthcare Science Certificate
Healthcare Assistant Certificate
Once students fill out the FAFSA for Financial Aid and find out they are PELL Grant eligible, they will need to change the preadmission program to one of the following ASSOCIATE DEGREE tracks
Interdisciplinary Studies – Health Track- for all competitive health programs: RAD, ST, OTA, PTA, MLT, DA, MA
Interdisciplinary Studies – Nursing Track- for all competitive nursing programs: ASN and Bridge
The preadmission program best suited for you depends on which competitive program you are interested in applying to, and what financial aid you are eligible for. The certificate and the degree preadmission programs allow for the same preadmission courses to be taken. These programs do not have to be completed before applying to the intended competitive program.
