  1. A Blackboard Sign On Error that states, "The authentication request has expired" means that a previous Okta session timed out or you closed Okta without logging out.
    1. Navigate to the Okta site
    2. Click your name in the upper right corner of the Okta dashboard.
    3. Select "Sign Out."
    4. Log back into Okta and select the Blackboard bookmark
  2. A Blackboard Sign On Error that states, "Unable to log into your account using single sign-on" means that you need to contact the Student Help Desk to have the Okta bookmark added to your Okta dashboard.
  3. Using an incorrect user name or password:
    1. Your username is your complete Chatt Tech student email address.
    2. Your password is the single-sign-on password given to you when you were accepted at Chatt Tech.
    3. To reset this password in Okta, click "Need help signing in?" on the bottom of the Sign In block / Choose "Help," which routes you to the Student Help Desk or allows you to choose "Forgot Password?" and change your password on the password-reset screen.
    4. When you reset this password, instructions are sent to your personal email account listed in Banner. If you are not receiving this notification, navigate to the Records Office Form Page and submit a Student Personal Email Change Request.
  4. Using an unsupported browser. We recommend opening Blackboard only in the most current versions of Chrome and Firefox.
