1. Download and install the Okta Verify app to your device by going to your online app store.
2. Log into Okta on your browser. Once logged in, click your name in the top right corner to open the dropdown menu. Select "Settings."
3. Next, click on the green "Edit Profile" button in the top right. You will be prompted to login to Okta again.
4. Once Okta has verified your credentials, the Settings screen will appear again. Scroll down to find the "Security Methods" section. Click "Set up" next to Okta Verify.
5. Okta will prompt for your credentials again. Once verified, the "Set up security methods" window will be displayed. Click "Set up" under Okta Verify.
6. Once you click "Set up", you will be presented with a QR code.
7. On your mobile device, open the Okta Verify app. When prompted to "Choose Account Type", click "Organization."
8. Tap "Skip" when prompted to add an account from another device.
9. Tap "Yes, Ready to Scan" button to access the Okta QR code scanner.
10. If prompted to "Enable Face ID/Passcode", this is up to your preference. To continue without enabling, tap "Not Now."
11. You should now see the "Account Added" message on your phone. Tap "Done". Your computer will return you to your Okta settings page.
